Hero MotoCorp is quite popular for updating its models on regular basis. Apart from giving regular cosmetic updates Hero MotoCorp offers XTEC range on its various models. We’ve already seen Pleasure, Glamour 125, Passion and Destini 125 with XTEC suite. Now Hero MotoCorp has introduced Hero Super Splendor XTEC.
Super Splendor 125 XTEC Price
The price of Hero Super Splendor XTEC starts at ₹83,368 for drum brake variant. The disc brake variant is priced at ₹87,268 (both prices ex-showroom). In terms of pricing the Super Splendor XTEC is positioned above the Passion XTEC which starts at ₹81,462 (ex-showroom).
First units of the bike have already started to arrive at dealerships. The Super Splendor XTEC gets 124.7cc engine that packs 10.7 BHP and 10.6 Nm. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and offers a mileage of 68 km/l.
As it’s an XTEC variant it gets a lot of tech and features updates. Hero MotoCorp is offering fully digital instrument cluster on the bike with bluetooth connectivity. One of the most noticeable changes on the bike is full LED headlights that looks awesome. This gives Super Splendor XTEC a futuristic appeal that will come handy to take on rivals.
The bike gets usual telescopic front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, black alloy wheels, rear drum brake etc. In 125cc segment the Super Splendor XTEC rivals Honda Shine 125 and TVS Raider 125 mainly. With XTEC the Super Splendor is on par with the Honda Shine 125 but TVS Raider is still ahead with 5-inch TFT display and GPS on offer. Bajaj Pulsar 125 too is present in this segment though.
