- Vimal Sumbly, head of business at TVS Motor Company himself delivered the TVS Ronin neo-retro bike to MS Dhoni
- TVS Ronin price starts at ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and it is available in 3 variants and 6 colours
When TVS launched the Ronin in July 2022 it aimed to take on Honda CB350 and particularly the Royal Enfield Classic 350. TVS Ronin also rivals the Bajaj Dominar 250 and Pulsar 250s in its segment. However just like the CB350 and Dominar it failed to end the dominance of Royal Enfield Classic 350 in its segment. TVS Ronin has found its place in MS Dhoni garage.
TVS has given Ronin a neo-retro look, similar to what we see on Honda CB350. This bike is powered by a 225.9cc engine that packs 20.43 BHP and 19.93 Nm. This engine comes mated with a 5-speed gearbox. LED lightning, turn-by-turn navigation and golden coloured USD forks are some notable features on TVS Ronin.
TVS offers two riding modes in Ronin – Urban and Rain. Smart Xconnect Bluetooth technology is an another important feature available on the bike. The bike gets disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS on top variant. Kerb weight stands at 160 kg while wheelbase of the bike is 1357 mm.
