Yamaha Motor India has launched the all new Yamaha FZ S Version 4.0. The bike gets host of upgrades as compared to the previous FZ S Version 3.0 model. Yamaha says it has sold more than 1.5 million FZ Series bikes in a time span of 11 years. Today the brand has updated its most popular streetfighter with Version 4.0 model.
Yamaha FZ S Version 4.0 DLX
The biggest update on the new FZ S includes an all-new LED headlights and raised LED taillights. The new LED headlight on the bike will provide excellent visibility at night over a wide range. There are seperate bulbs for high and low beam. Flashers too in the bike are LED units.
Yamaha is offering coloured wheels on all three different colour variants of the bike. The colour on the bike includes Metallic Grey, Majesty Red and Metallic Black. Like every model 3D emblem is available here too.
The new FZ S Version 4.0 gets Segment first Traction Control System (TCS) that reduces the chances of wheelspin when traction is lost. Engine on the bike includes 4-stroke 149cc engine that packs 12.4 PS and 13.3 Nm of torque. This engine is connected to a 5-speed gearbox and now E20 fuel compliant.
Yamaha is offering single-channel ABS on the new FZ S bike with 282mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes. 140mm wide radial tire at the rear offers good grip. To connect your smartphone to the bike Yamaha is offering Y-Connect with Bluetooth on the new FZ S.
Version 3.0 of the FZ S bike will continue to be on sale which starts at ₹1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). With added features the Version 4.0 model costs ₹12,000 more. The Version 4.0 price starts at ₹1.27 lakh (ex-showroom).
