Hyundai India has updated the Alcazar for the year 2023. The 2023 Hyundai Alcazar gets both cosmetic and mechanical updates. On the safety front too Hyundai is now offering six airbags as standard across all variants of the Hyundai Alcazar. Idle stop and go feature is also standard here. 2023 Hyundai Alcazar – 1.5-Litre Turbo-Petrol Engine
Hyundai is now offering the Alcazar with new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. This engine puts put 158 BHP and 253 Nm. It comes mated with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox. For manual the mileage figure stands at 17.5 km/l while for automatic it is at 18 km/l.
Apart from this the Hyundai Alcazar continues to get 1.5-litre diesel engine that puts out 114 BHP and 250 Nm. It gets 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai has discontinued the 2.0-litre diesel engine on Alcazar.
Hyundai says the new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine on the Alcazar is E20 fuel ready and RDE compliant. The same engine will power the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Verna which is scheduled to make its global debut on March 21. Customers can book both Hyundai Verna and updated Alcazar at a token amount of ₹25,000.
2023 Hyundai Alcazar – Safety Features
Apart from updating engine Hyundai has also updated the safety feature on Alcazar. It now gets six airbags as standard across all variants. ISG (Idle Stop and Go) is also standard now. Hyundai Alcazar continues to be offered in both 6-seater and 7-seater variants.
With new updates Hyundai Alcazar will get a price hike. However Hyundai hasn’t revealed the prices of updated model. In its segment the Hyundai Alcazar rivals MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700.
