- ADAS on 2023 Tata Harrier SUV will only be available in top-spec ZXA+(O) variant
- XZ+ and ZXA+(O) are the only two variants that will get Red Dark Edition on 2023 Tata Harrier
Tata Motors is all set to launch the 2023 Harrier and Safari SUVs. Both SUVs will get much needed updates which includes bigger infotainment and ADAS that rivals already offer. Tata Motors has also teased Red Dark Edition of Safari, Harrier and Nexon. Launch is scheduled to take place next month but ahead of that we’ve got some details of Tata Harrier ADAS.
Tata Harrier ADAS Variants
Recent leaks of the 2023 Tata Harrier suggests that it will get ADAS driving tech only on top-spec ZXA+(O) variant. New Harrier will be available in 7 variants – XE, XM, XMS, XT+, XZ, XZ+ and XZA+(O). Apart from variants customers will get 5 colour options – Daytona Grey, Calypso Red, Orcus White, Tropical Mist and Royal Blue.
Tata Motors has added Dark and Red Dark editions too. If we talk about the Red Dark edition Tata Motors will offer it in only two variants – XZ+ and XZA+(O). So if anyone wants ADAS then the only option is to go for the XZA+(O) variant which can be bought in Red Dark Edition too. ADAS on Tata Harrier will offer autonomous braking emergency, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, traffic sign recognition, front and rear collision warning etc.
Tata Harrier Red Dark Edition
As the Red Dark Edition will be only on offer in XZ+ and XZA+(O) customers can get this edition with ADAS in latter one only. Tata Motors will offer R18 diamond cut alloy wheels with red brake calipers. Interior of the car will get Carnelian Red colour theme with diamond style leatherette seats.
Unfortunately there will be no upgrade on engine. 2023 Tata Harrier will continue to get 2.0-litre diesel engine that puts out 168 BHP and 350 Nm. This engine sends power to front wheels via 6-speed manual and automatic transmission.
