Hyundai has finally revealed the prices of the Alcazar 1.5-litre turbo petrol variants. This new 1.5-litre turbo engine replaces the 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine. New 2023 Hyundai Verna scheduled for launch on March 21 will also use this engine. Hyundai hasn’t made any changes in diesel variants of the car. Let’s take a close look at Hyundai Alcazar 1.5 turbo petrol.

Hyundai Alcazar 1.5 Turbo Petrol – Variants & Pricing

The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine on Alcazar starts at ₹16.74 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Prestige 7-seater variant with manual gearbox. The Platinum 7-seater variant with manual gearbox is priced at ₹18.65 lakh (ex-showroom).

With 7-speed DCT there are two variants on offer – Platinum (O) and Signature (O) priced at ₹19.96 lakh (ex-showroom) and ₹20.25 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. These two variants are available in both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations. As compared to older 2.0-litre petrol there’s a price hike of ₹65k on base, ₹5k on 2nd base and ₹10k on other two variants.

The 2.0-litre petrol engine on Alcazar used to offer 159 bhp and 191 nm. Now it is new 1.5-litre turbo petrol that puts out 160 bhp and 253 nm. Hyundai is offering 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT on this engine with fuel efficiency of 17.5 km/l and 18 km/l rrespectively.

A 1.5-litre diesel engine continues to be on offer on Alcazar that puts out 116 bhp and 250 nm. This engine gets 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox. Both engines are now RDE and E20 compliant.

2023 Hyundai Alcazar – New Updates

Hyundai has added new front grille and puddle lamp logo on the 2023 Alcazar. It also gets “Turbo” badging on newly introduced 1.5-litre turbo petrol variant. Standard features on the car includes 6 airbags and idle engine start stop system.

Hyundai Alcazar gets 10.25-inch infotainment and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Features like cruise control, ESC, TPMS, 360° camera, wireless charging etc are available on the MPV. In its segment the Alcazar rivals Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Innova HyCross.
