- The new Sportz Executive variant on Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS costs ₹7.16 lakh for manual and ₹7.70 lakh for automatic gearbox
- As compared to the regular Sportz variant, the new Executive variant costs ₹3,500 less by compromising on some features
Hyundai has launched the Grand i10 NIOS in new Sportz Executive variant. This little hatchback brings decent sales volume to Hyundai and hence it gets regular updates time to time. This new variant misses out on some features as compared to the regular Sportz variant. Let’s take a close look at it.
Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Sportz Executive
The new Sportz Executive variant on Grand i10 starts at ₹7,16,400 for petrol manual gearbox. With automatic transmission it is priced at ₹7,70,200 (both prices ex-showroom). Sportz Executive costs ₹3,500 less than the regular Sportz model by missing out on some features.
Hyundai Grand i10 Sportz Executive misses out on automatic climate control and it gets manual AC/heater instead from Magna variant. That’s all about the new Sportz Executive variant on the car.
Hyundai i20 Sportz Changes
If we talk about the i20 then on Sportz trim Hyundai isn’t offering automatic climate control altogether. Like the Sportz Executive on i10 NIOS it gets manual AC/heater from Magna variant. Well that’s the only change on Hyundai i20 Sportz and rest of features are same.
Deletion of automatic climate control takes down the i20 Sportz trim price by ₹3,500. Now i20 Sportz starts at ₹8,05,200 for petrol manual variant. For petrol manual dual-Tone and petrol iVT the prices are ₹8,20,200 and ₹9,07,000 respectively (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
If anyone wants to buy i20 with automatic climate control features then they have to go for Asta trim priced at ₹9,01,100 (ex-showroom). Earlier in Sportz trim this feature was on offer at ₹8,08,700 (ex-showroom). The i20 rivals Maruti Baleno and Tata Altroz while the Grand i10 NIOS competes with Maruti Swift and Tata Tiago.
