- Mahindra XUV300 gets a price hike of up to ₹22k on different variants along with BS6 Phase 2 compliant engines
- W4 and W6 petrol base variant prices are unchanged at ₹8.41 lakh and ₹9.99 lakh respectively
Mahindra has launched the XUV300 compact SUV with BS6 Phase 2 and RDE compliant engines. Along with new emission norms updates the compact SUV also gets a price hike depending on variants. Unlike Scorpio and Bolero there are no new variants on offer. With this the XUV300 is the first Mahindra model to follow BS6 Phase 2 and RDE emission rules.
Mahindra XUV300 BS6 Phase 2
The XUV300 continues to get 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.2-litre petrol engine puts out 109 bhp and 200 nm while the 1.5-litre diesel packs 115 bhp and 300 nm. Usual 6-speed manual and AMT transmission are on offer here. Both these engines are now BS6 Phase 2 and RDE compliant but there are no changes in performance figures.
XUV300 Price Hike – March 2023
Along with BS6 Phase 2 and RDE updates the Mahindra XUV300 also gets a minor price hike. Base W4 and W6 variants with manual gearbox prices are unchanged at ₹8.41 lakh and ₹9.99 lakh. W6 variant with AMT gearbox now costs ₹10.71 lakh which is ₹20,000 more than ₹10.51 lakh earlier. There’s a uniform price hike of ₹15,000 across all other petrol variants.
If we talk about diesel variants then W4, W6 and W8 variants are now expensive by ₹20,000. The W8(O) on the other hand now gets a price hike ₹22,000. Checkout the new prices below.

Mahindra XUV300 Turbosport Price Hike
Apart from price hike on regular petrol and diesel engines the Turbosport variant of XUV300 too gets a price hike of up to ₹20,000. The entry-level W6 Turbosport is now priced at ₹10.50 lakh with ₹15,000 price hike. Similar price hike follows on W8 variant while W8(O) variant is now expensive by ₹20,000. The XUV300 Turbosport gets 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that puts out 128 bhp and 250 nm. Only 6-speed manual gearbox is available with this powerful engine which is now BS6 Phase 2 and RDE compliant. In October 2022 Mahindra has introduced the XUV300 Turbosport with a starting price of ₹10.35 lakh.
