Tata Harrier, Safari With ADAS, 10.25-inch touchscreen Revealed

Tata Motors is gearing up to update its two flagship products – Harrier and Safari. 2023 Tata Harrier and Safari will get host of updates to keep up with the competition. However even in 2023 update Tata Motors will continue to offer sole diesel engine on both Harrier and Safari. Bookings of 2023 Tata Harrier ADAS and Safari ADAS are underway at ₹30,000.

ADAS on Tata Harrier and Safari is now a reality. The ADAS tech comes with collision warning, emergency braking, lane departure, blind spot detection and 360° camera. Panoramic sunroof is available on both SUVs but 2023 Safari will now get ambient lighting. Red highlights on the interior of both SUVs are immense.

In the above teaser 10.25-inch touchscreen can be clearly seen. This infotainment will replace current 8.8-inch unit on the current model. It now supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Customers can use voice command in this touchscreen in 7 different languages. Tata Motors will now offer 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster on the 2023 Harrier and Safari ADAS with wireless charging and Type-C port.

No Petrol Engine On 2023 Harrier and Safari

As Tata Motors has given lot of updates to the 2023 Harrier and Safari it still misses out on petrol engine. Both SUVs will continue to be powered by RDE compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine that packs 170 PS and 350 Nm. 6-speed manual and automatic will be on offer here.

Upon launch 2023 Tata Harrier will rival the Mahindra XUV700, Jeep Compass and MG Hector. On the other hand 2023 Tata Safari will take on Hyundai Alcazar and MG Hector Plus.
